Hi! I’m Alison, a Melbourne local who loves showing the city from a slightly different perspective. What I enjoy most about Melbourne is its waterside life, from river traffic and working ports to yacht clubs and beaches. The city feels completely different when experienced along its waterways and beachfronts. I’m drawn to Melbourne’s multicultural energy, where grungy, gritty, glamorous and funky all coexist. I love walking, whether getting lost in CBD laneways, wandering a foreshore, or heading upriver. Food is another passion of mine, from market eats to fine dining. I know Williamstown, Altona, Footscray, the CBD and Carlton well. As a trained art teacher, I enjoy sharing Melbourne’s art spaces, and my interest in sustainability means I’m great at finding vintage, recycled, handmade and unconventional spots.
