What travelers think of our USA experiences

Kathy was thoughtful to our interests and captured experiences that were more than superficial as would be mentioned on a bus tour. The tea tasting in China Town and visiting the Buddhist Temple were both experiences we would not have known to seek out. Telegragh Hill and North Beach were terrific. Kathy also went an hour and half beyond our appointment. It was ex ellent.

Kathy was a great guide for me on our Financial District tour in San Fran. She is very knowledgeable with the area, as well as the architectural history of the city and I highly recommend this tour!

We had been to SF several times before and done all the Main attractions. We wanted to see how locals live, by exploring neighborhoods, shops and restaurants. We had a beautiful day to walk and enjoy the charm of this unique city,

Kathy met us at our hotel and designed a great tour for us that familiarized us with parts of San Francisco that we were interested in seeing. She was engaging, upbeat, educated and really knows the city. She made us feel welcome and she offered us excellent information and tips for the rest of our stay. We highly recommend a tour like this early in one's trip to a new city to get a basic lay of the area.

What you’ll do

While you’re in the city, join a local San Francisco host who can’t wait to explore the city with you, and help you discover a taste of the real San Francisco in between your meetings, before your flight, or during your free evenings!

Just let us know how much time you have, and what you’d like to spend your time doing. If you’ve got an evening to spare, you could join your local San Francisco host and enjoy some drinks in a rooftop bar in the hip Mission District, or go one better and head to Fort Funston where you can watch a sunset from cliffs plunging into the ocean.

Instead of eating alone, you could discover San Francisco’s incredible cuisine after your day of meetings; let your host introduce you to their city’s food truck culture at Off the Grid at Fort Mason, a cool gathering of food trucks, discover fusion foods in Chinatown (which also happens to be the birthplace of the fortune cookie!) or Latin flavors in the Mission. Beats room service!

If all you have is a few hours in between meetings, your local San Francisco host will create an experience that suits the time you have available, and the area you’re in; be it visiting Pier 39 or getting that all-important glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge.
