Hello, I’m Peij Augustus, a friendly and curious local host who loves sharing the fascinating mix of history and modern life that makes Yokohama so special. What I admire most about this city is how its rich past as one of Japan’s first open ports can still be seen and felt today. I enjoy strolling along the port area, where every walk brings a new discovery from charming shops to cozy restaurants. Yokohama’s skyline is truly one of a kind, and I never get tired of exploring its beautiful views. I know neighborhoods like Minatomirai, Yamashita Park, and the Futamatagawa and Seya areas very well. Whether it is finding the best ramen, exploring historical buildings, or navigating public transport with ease, I love helping visitors experience the heart and character of Yokohama.
