I love Yokohama for its perfect blend of modern and traditional vibes, with an elegant port atmosphere that makes walking through the city a truly healing experience. I’m always on the lookout for new restaurants, cafes, and shops, as this city is constantly evolving, and there’s always something new to discover. The peaceful walks along the waterfront, with stunning views of the bay, are my favorite way to unwind. Having raised my daughters here, I know all the best spots for families and how locals truly enjoy this vibrant city.

Madoka was charming and interesting and she created the perfect experience for us. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide to spend the day with. The sights and the history were matched only by the very special vintage fashion she took us to see. She knew exactly where to find unique and special bags for a great price and in excellent condition! She brought us to favorite local spots for delicious food and it was just the perfect day. We are so grateful to Madoka for a wonderful experience in Yokohama!!

This was an excellent tour that I would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting Yokohama. Madoka was an excellent host with a wealth of local knowledge who introduced us to a number of dishes unique to Japan. It was a very pleasurable afternoon /evening that we'll remember well into the future.

We had a wonderful time doing a sushi-based tour with Madoka. We went to restaurants we'd never adventure to on our own. Her explanations and guidance will help us for the rest of our trip to Japan. She is a natural teacher who is excellent at explaining things to the clueless. We highly recommend it, and we hope to meet Madoka again.
