We loved learning about the area of Monmarte. The history, the art, and the culture. This was our families favorite place to tour. Our guide, Hristo also gave us great recommendations for lunch and where to have our daughters portraits drawn after our tour. We felt we were able to confidently navigate following our tour.

Hristo gave us a fantastic tour of the highlights of Paris. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared fun anecdotes that really brought the city’s history to life. He was very accommodating, easy to plan with, and stayed connected in the weeks leading up to our tour. Hristo also curated the itinerary based on what we wanted to see, which made the experience feel personal and special. Friendly, professional, and a pleasure to spend the day with - highly recommend!

We had a fabulous morning with Hristov. He was so great and really catered the tour to our needs. He also provided me with great tips via email ahead of our tour. By the end of the day my family was awed by how many major historical landmarks we had been able to see in a day. I would highly recommend this tour. If you do it in the summer be sure to bring something to shade yourself with, water, comfortable walking shoes, and patience for crowds. We started early on a Sunday, and had the city to ourselves for the first few hours, but it got busy quickly.

With only one day in Paris on a layover, we made the most of it with an eight hour walking tour for first time visitors that passed through what felt like every notable building in central Paris. The tour was easy to book, we were able to specify our interests, and our guide Hristo kept in touch with us in advance to organize an itinerary and coordinate a meeting location. The tour was completely customizable and in our case focused on historic and cultural highlights, meandering along both banks of the Seine and then to the Arc and Eiffel Tower. Hristo provided in depth knowledge of historical facts and features on each of our stops, answered all of our questions, and provided his own personal perspectives through the walk. We took breaks when needed, visited extra places when we were ahead of schedule, and as we finished slightly early, got some help finding a place for dinner. It was a long day with a ton of walking but well worth it!

Jill was an amazing tour guide! We only had one day in Paris and wanted to get an overview of Paris life. She gave us a wonderful overview of the history of Paris during our four hour tour. She was very kind and friendly and supportive. When we discovered we had been scammed with one of our credit cards, she went above and beyond to make sure that we felt secure and comfortable for the rest of our trip in Paris. She also secured train tickets for us and took us to the Eiffel Tower. She was very generous with her time and expertise, and we highly recommend her!

Jill was an amazing tour guide. She was full of knowledge re: the history of Paris and was very kind and accommodating. She was a an excellent communicator and was flexible in our tour, making sure we saw what we were most interested in. She went above and beyond when we discovered we’d been scammed by an online crook and spent extra time with us to make sure we were ok. We highly recommend any traveler to Paris to book a tour with Jill. She was kind, fun and extremely informative!

Our guide Jill arrived a couple minutes early at our hotel and we were able to tailor our 4 hour tour to our interests. Friendly and clearly very knowledgeable of Paris history, architecture, politics, places to dine, and interesting places off the beaten path. We were so happy we did this tour our first morning in Paris. It gave us a familiarity with the city we would have never found on our own.

Pascal was the BEST! He made everything both educational and fun! We did not even notice we have already walked for hours under the heat because we enjoyed our leisurely paced walking tour so much

Absolutely best our expectations. Pasquale was informative and provided such a memorable day for us. He was extremely knowledge of the neighborhoods, history of art, architecture and the history of the city.

Pascal was an excellent guide who showed us much about Paris we would have missed without him.

We just finished a private 6+ hour tour with Pascal. It was excellent! He is very knowledgeable, flexible and easy going to spend a day with. Excellent and smooth communications with him and City Unscripted prior to our tour. It made our Paris 4 day visit so much better!

Viator is hit or miss and not always reliable, but their subcontract to City Unscripted worked out well this time. Roffy from "City Unscripted" was an excellent guide and spent six hours with my nephew and I showing us around Paris including some of the more well known land marks along with some hidden "surprises". There were several places we went to that would never have been on our list given this was our first time in Paris so in my opinion, this tour was worth every cent to get a local perspective and see some lesser known things. Having a guide with a set route and plan also made the day much more efficient and we were able to pack in a lot. Roffy was an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable and was fun to hang out with and the time flew by! I would highly recommend this tour (especially for a first trip to Paris)!

My husband and I tour three countries. Paris was the only one that we got a private guide. It was a local. I wish we had done it on day one in the other countries. It was the best day we had overall by far! Roffy was amazing.

Wish we could rate this 6 out of 5 stars!! Del was an exceptional guide - she knows Montmartre intimately and did a wonderful job of tailoring the presentation to our individual interests. She was all over everything from the history to the best photo stops, shopping, etc. One of the best tours of our trip!

Del was great, I had some unexpected mobility issues and Del was able to accommodate for this by modifying the original tour plan to suit. The tour itself was both informative and fun!!

Del was very knowledgeable and friendly, she catered our tour based on our preferences. She also helped me understand how to navigate the metro and purchase the most cost efficient metro card for our time in Paris! Highly recommend Del!

Having a guide take you around is a great way to ensure you don’t miss out on some of the key highlights in and around the area! Del was very friendly, went with the flow of what our kids were interested in and ensured we all got to see the things we hand in mind! It’s definitely a place you can explore for longer than 3 hours, especially if you choose to get your portraits done! :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk through Montmartre with Clovis! He made it fun and interesting, with little tidbits about the artists who had lived there in the past. He also gave an excellent restaurant recommendation, where we had our dinner later.

This was a very helpful and valuable tour as this was our first trip to Paris and we only had 4 days in the city. We arrived in Paris at 9am from USA and had the tour booked at 2pm to kick off our visit. We booked a 3hour walking tour to give us an overview & layout of the city and get a better understanding of "getting around". Our guide was Clovis. Clovis was great. Clovis is a Parisian and definitely knows the city, a lot of history, cultural info, and was fun to be with. He also speaks great English and was very accommodating to what we wanted to see and do. Clovis met us at our Hotel (7 arrondissement) and we developed a 3 hour tour on the spot. Clovis also have a tutorial on the Metro so we were able to utilize the Metro for the rest of our trip. Overall, this was a great tour, a great value and a great start our trip to Paris. Thank you Clovis.

Come was knowledgable and willing to walk and introduce us to Paris. Walked along the Seine which is what we recommend to best learn and see this wonderful city.

The guide was very knowledgeable and well-versed in the history of Paris and France. The tour was quite comprehensive and detailed. So glad we did this tour at the start of our stay in Paris. It laid the ground work for the rest of our tour.

My family and I travelled around Montmatre with Ewan. He showed us many sights and told us interesting stories about the area. I would highly recommend this tour.

Monty was the most fantastic guide I have ever met. We had a all order for him and he met it. He was completely engaging with our entire family, including our 3 teenagers, and took time with each one on our walks to talk to them and find out what was interesting to them. By the end of the tour, he was one of the family and we cannot wait for him to visit us in the US. Absolutely fantastic!!!

Our tour guide Monty was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we hit all the highlights. We ended the day with an array of memorable photos.

Monty was very knowledgeable about all of Paris, and I was able to see all the major sights in one afternoon. He answered all of my silly questions, and he was very passionate about all the art and history of the city (also accommodated my sudden change in schedule).

We really enjoyed the tour which Marie tailored to our requests. Using her knowledge of the area she gave us some great food options and also took the opportunity on our tour to show us various historical landmarks and explain their significance.

I never thought we could visit all the spots we visited in a 6 hour timeframe. Marie helped us use the metro for the first time, pressed on through rainy weather and had a smoke the entire time. Such a sweet personality and valuable asset to your tour team!

Two weeks and two great experiences with City Unscripted! The second was with Marie as we explored the Montmartre neighborhood in Paris. Marie also had a great personality and was knowledgeable on the area.

Paul was amazing, he made our experience magical. Covered more than we expected with all that we wanted to see in the short about of time. Made it even better with being able to communicate with him. He spoke very good English. Looking forward to our next visit.

I was fortunate to be able to schedule two experiences with Vanessa while I was in Paris. She was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed my time with her and in Paris. On my first night in the city, I booked “A Night in Paris with a Local”. She provided an excellent walking tour of Le Marais. Vanessa’s recommendations for spots to stop for a drink and dinner were perfect. Over delicious food and wine, we discussed art, travel, current events, and, of course, French food. I enjoyed this experience so much, I booked the “Le Marais Food Experience” for my last day in Paris, which was four days later. Vanessa knows the spots for food that would be nearly impossible to find without a local. I loved the places she selected for tastings. It was a personalized tour and we weren’t committed to certain restaurants. This flexibility was great. Vanessa provided options and suggestions and I was able to try what I wanted. We also stopped in several boutiques. I learned more about Le Marais as we strolled through the neighborhood on a beautiful afternoon in Paris. In between tours, Vanessa was generous with her time and gave recommendations and advice for dining and activities. I recommend Vanessa without any reservations. She is enthusiastic, prepared, and is an excellent host for travelers in Paris.
