Our tour of Le Mareis was more than just walking around. Francois provided a deep background on the historic development of the neighborhoods within the area, as well as the various influences upon culture, food, wine and life in Paris. Francois was generous with his time, his knowledge, and his passions for the all things culinary. A rare statement indeed. We immediately felt like students, peers and family.
