Ah, Paris, the City of Lights. Who wouldn't want to explore every inch of it? Discover all the hidden gems of Paris with a host on this experience
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Are you in the mood for classic old-movie vibes and yummy food? Then, the City of Lights is waiting for you. And I'm here to tell you all about my favorite spots in Paris—from stunning architecture that blends modernity with vintage to adorable little spots where you can grab a coffee and a croissant. There's also a local host ready to tell you all about this majestic city, so it's sure to be an absolutely fun adventure.
Your journey kicks off at Saint-Sulpice Church, the city's second-largest church, where I accidentally discovered its magnificent sanctuary. What struck me most was the rare tranquility amidst Paris's bustling monuments. The charming square outside invites you to savor a coffee or indulge in a light snack, making it the perfect peaceful retreat to take in the beauty of Paris.
Next, lose yourself in the lush embrace of Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris's green oasis. Picture-perfect flowerbeds, sprawling lawns, and a soothing ambiance beckon locals and tourists alike. It's a serene escape where nature thrives amidst the urban hustle, offering a unique respite from the city's energetic pace. I love just sitting here and watching the water. You can even rent a boat yourself if you feel like going out on the river.
Next up, get ready to be dazzled at the Panthéon, a neoclassical marvel that proudly tells the story of French history. As you turn the corner, the sheer size of its imposing dome and columns will leave you breathless. I adore getting lost in the rich adornments of sculptures, paintings, and mosaics that bring France's storied past to life. You won't be left guessing, though, as your host has all the stories ready to tell you. Once you've soaked in the grandeur, head to Rue Mouffetard—it's the perfect place to grab a quick bite or take a leisurely stroll, soaking up the lively Parisian vibes. Oh, là là!
It's time to discover another architectural gem at Saint-Etienne-du-Mont Church, nestled in one of Paris's most picturesque corners. While the Panthéon dominates the skyline, this church captivates with its stunning blend of Gothic and Renaissance styles. I love just gazing up at its majestic interior, marveling at the intricately carved rood screen. Nearby, dive into history at Sorbonne University or unwind in the vibrant ambiance of Place de la Contrescarpe, where charming cafes and restaurants invite you to linger and soak up the local culture. Let your host show you where to find the best croissants or escargots (if you're brave enough).
Wrap up your Parisian odyssey at Saint-Severin Church, one of Paris's oldest and most enchanting Gothic churches. Wander through its ancient halls, open to visitors seeking a glimpse into centuries past. The intricate stained glass windows and unique twisted columns evoke a sense of timelessness, offering a captivating finale to your architectural adventure through the heart of Paris.
Throughout this journey, your host will be by your side, showing you the little hidden gems of Paris or where to find the best food. They have insights that only a local could know, and you'll feel like you are part of the Parisian family while exploring with them.
So there it is—some of my absolute favorite spots in Paris. From stunning church architecture to hidden foodie spots, there's sure to be something for everyone on this adventure. Get ready to fall in love with the City of Lights just like I have! And remember, I want to hear all about it. Bonne journée!

Far and away an amazing time. Pascal was a great tour guide that took us to exactly where we wanted to go, and more. The service was stellar in terms of communication between Pascal and myself. There is a survey that you fill out after booking. Through that, and the emails back and forth with your tour guide, they help make magic happen. It was myself, my husband, and our daughter and her boyfriend, both in their twenties. I knew that I wanted to visit Montmartre and Le Marais. We booked a three hour tour, which was plenty of time to walk around and see everything. My husband is a fan of Emily in Paris, and I a fan of Amalie, so we walked around to see some of the local filming sites which was nice. Pascal was full of knowledge about both the current goings-on of the area but also the historical tidbits. He helped us navigate le Metro and was all around a great guy. We knew the kids would like Le Marais and he took us to the kilo shops (buy clothes by the kilo) where they went off and shopped. I recommend this service for the cost. I'm sure the guides have fun with it as well, because no two tours of theirs will ever be the same, they truly tailor it to you.
Show moreThis was my first time in Paris. So It’s up to Pascul. He took me Montmartre for three hours. He knows a lot about the place where took the nice view of Paris. He almost always answered my questions. It will be memorable.
Show moreWhile I have been to Paris dozens of times, Hristo tailored a trip to the far end of the Canal St. Martin area that I had never seen. He is a charming, bright young man and I loved spending the morning with him. We went during the Olympics, so we made a stop in La Villette where many countries hosted villages. He quickly picked up on my interests in back street adventures. He also showed me areas where I might return with my grandchildren. I cannot recommend him highly enough and would hire him again in a heartbeat. Thanks Hristo for a memorable morning. I learned so many new things and had a blast
