He customized the tour to show us hidden gems of Hong Kong food scene. He gracefully accommodated our vegetarian needs. His knowledge of Hong Kong history is vast and filled with interesting details. An amazing tour.

An incredible experience with a great array of food and cultural experiences. Simon was beyond accommodating and answered all of our questions as well as teaching us so much about Hong Kong. We got to try and eat like the locals do and got to try so much food. We had been to Hong Kong a few times and Simon was able to show us things we had never seen. We would certainly recommend this tour and Simon.

We spent a very nice day with Alfred, a long-time resident of Hong Kong. This is a great tour if it is your first time in Hong Kong and you want to see a variety of places, many of which are unique. To help us understand some of the history of Hong Kong, we started the tour at the Heritage of Mei Ho House Museum (quite an interesting and unique experience). We then visited several local markets (bird and flower). The bird market was especially interesting; so many beautiful birds. We continued our visit with a stop at a local cafe where we were treated to "hong kong style" pineapple buns, coffee and milk tea. We continued on to see the firing of the noon canon at Victoria Harbor and then made our way to a local wet market and had the opportunity to ride a streetcar. Finally, we had the opportunity to explore Hong Kong's subway system as we made our way to the Sky100 Tower for a beautiful (but a little hazy) view of the city skyline and a relaxing drink in the cafe. Finally, we made our way back to our ship using the subway and bus system. Alfred was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and willing to match the pace and itinerary to our interests. A great way to see some interesting parts of Hong Kong.
