Malin was lovely, informative, kind and friendly, also good to have a laugh with! She went above and beyond, recommending ‘musts’ for the rest of my stay. We seemed to cover a LOT in just three hours: meeting me at Central Station, she kept to my walking pace - thanks Malin. She took me to Soho, to the square where the old police station has been converted into a restaurant, the beautiful, spiritual and ornate Mo Man Temple, and along Antique Street to find some really unusual, untouristy gifts to take home. We chatted in a quaint and very cool coffee bar and then a welcome drift along the raised flat escalator which runs amongst the buildings at around fourth-floor level - fascinating! More relaxation taking a tram to the Star Ferry to cross back to where we started. Malin was the perfect host and thanks to her I know more about Hong Kong in terms of history and culture. Now I look forward to trying out her tips (in particular Victoria Peak) and spending more time ambling, investigating and probably spending money (tho not too much!) in some of the places she showed me. Thanks Malin!

Wendy - our local guide - was very good and went beyond the expectations by helping us also to understand how to get around Hong Kong transportation system which I have to say it’s not always obvious and well signposted. Also, she took us to a delicious restaurant. If you have limited time in Hong Kong it’s a very useful service to book .. and if you have time but want to know more / have a local’s insight and tip it’s also worth it !
