Maurita was an amazing tour guide for our family. She personalized it, had amazing knowledge and we had a great time!

Great walking tour with Maurita, she was very knowledgable and took me to some very interesting sights in New York. The tour was tailored based on what I wanted to see and do. A really enjoyable afternoon. I would recommend Maurita and definitely book her again for another tour.

We had a great walking tour with Maurita on the afternoon of the day we arrived. It was a great way to familiarise ourselves with the city and have the opportunity to ask a local for any tips or advice we needed. Maurita contacted us before the tour and asked if we had any specific requests or interests and was flexible on the day. Would highly recommend it.

We had such a great experience discovering the gorgeous Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO. This is our annual girls weekend to city and have explored so much in the past so we were looking for a unique tour, something new, and this was awesome. Our guide, Olga, was very knowledgeable, interesting, and adapted to our interests. Would highly recommend her as a tour guide in NYC!

Olga was extremely knowledgeable and showed us parts of the city that I didn’t know existed. She was also thoughtful about our 16 year-old son and showing him things to see that he enjoyed.

This tour was such a treat. We did the four hour tour with Olga. It was worth every penny. Olga was a kind, intelligent person. She made sure we were engaged and having fun. I will certainly be booking another of her tours in the future. The best thing about this tour, outside of Olga, was how exclusive it felt. We passed dozens of group tours, and you could tell they were limited in what they could do because of the size of the groups. We were able to move in and out of smaller spaces to see some off the beaten path stuff. It felt like we had a “friend” in New York, showing us around.

Mei was terrific! We wanted to avoid the main tourist attractions so Mei took us to Brooklyn and Queens where we enjoyed terrific views back to Manhattan, a calm ferry ride, and visited some ethnic neighborhoods enjoying some tasty cuisine. We had a great time!

I love the personal attention to my wishlist

Our took deviated a bit from my initial desire to see some of Robert Moses impact on NYC, but Mei guided my son and I through Grand Central Station, the subway system, and Roosevelt Island with information on some of Moses’ influences on the city. Wish we had more time, but the lines were very long for the ferry, so we took the overhead tram ride to Roosevelt Island and had a pleasant walk with really nice views of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

A full immersion into New York gems. Mei helped me understanding different aspects of NY by visiting Brooklyn, Dumbo, Chelsea and and by taking the ferry, bus and subway.

Ross was very diligent in ensuring our meeting place and time. He went above and beyond in being sure we saw everything we wanted to see and managed our tour so we ended it near our lunch restaurant. He could not have done better!

Ross timed our experience perfectly to coincide with a booking we had made after the tour. He was knowledgeable and friendly and adapted our route on the go once we had told him what we managed to see the day before. He ensured our route was accessible for my partner who is a wheelchair user and we saw things and places we wouldn't have thought about or attempted on our own.

We wanted an overview of NYC to get our bearings since we'd never been here before. Ross was prompt, polite, and informative. A great way to start our trip. He got us comfortable on the subway and took us all over, and saw what we were wanting. I highly recommend Ross and this endeavor.

Ed has excellent knowledge of New York and took the time to understand our interests. He knew where to go to show us how locals live which included an amazing cookie followed by the best pizza and then we finished off in a cool bar near Wall St. So nice to have someone take the lead so we could concentrate on the surroundings. Ed is attentive and personable and we very much enjoyed our day with him.

It was very fun!

Ed was very communicative from the beginning, trying to customize our tour even though we did not really know what we wanted to see. He met us at Grand Central and guided us on the subway and he did a great job leading us through and included a stop at a great bakery in Williamsburg. He also made sure that we got back to where we needed to be. My husband and I really enjoyed our afternoon and felt that we were meeting with an old friend. Would definitely recommend Ed as a guide, as a native New Yorker, you can tell really loves his city!! Thanks Ed

Jason was great! He tailored our tour to our interests and was so knowledgeable about the history of NYC and also current events and facts about the city. We highly recommend Jason for a private walking tour during your visit.

Great 8-hr private tour, fantastic guide in Denise, very highly recommend!

This is the perfect experience because you can let your tour guide know what you'd like to see ahead of time and they plan the day accordingly to make the most out of the time you have together. Our guide Denise was fantastic and made sure we saw all the things we wanted and shared history and interesting facts about each of the areas we visited. She also gave us great tips for other areas to explore and things to do on our own, as well as areas to avoid! I highly recommend this activity and would ask for Denise as your guide. Enjoy New York, I know my husband and I sure did!

We had a custom tour of NYC and Denise was so wonderful. She showed us around, was so flexible ( as we had all different interests and ages of kids), and made the afternoon fantastic. Thank you Denise for a great great day around the city!

Denise made a tour that was interesting for the 3 generations. We got a good explanation how to use the subway so we knew how to use it ourselfs. As she said herself she is not so good in dates and numbers( of historical things), but that was no issue for us.
