From street art, thrift stores, and craft breweries, you'll soak up the creativity of this artistic community and see beyond the hype of hipsters
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
You’ll join one of our local NY hosts for a jaunt around Williamsburg, a neighborhood that its locals like to think is the trendiest in the city, and we probably wouldn’t disagree with them.
Roam around this hip(ster) spot, seeing what there is to see, eating what there is to eat, and shopping what there is to shop. Head’s up; there’s a lot of all of the above.
Spot vivid street art, sift through thrift stores, pop into impossibly cool boutiques, muse over contemporary art in a small gallery, peruse the local flea market, or kick it on a barge overlooking the Manhattan skyline.
There are innovative craft breweries to be visited, trendy coffee shops to stop by, and fusion restaurants to check out. But despite the hype, we have to say that Williamsburg has earned its artistic credentials.
With your host sharing tales and pointing out secret spots, you’ll experience the warm community spirit, soak up the creativity and see that there’s more to Williamsburg than hipsters riding around on bikes they claim to have built themselves.

Olga was amazing! She customized the tour to exactly+more than what we’d hoped for. She had such passion in her details of history and local art, plus knowledge of current hot spots, etc. she followed up with so many good links and details that give us more than we could have hoped for.

Show moreOur tour guide, Olga, took us on a fun, well-paced, historical and scenic tour of Brooklyn Heights and Dumbo neighborhoods. So much to see! Olga was knowledgeable, friendly and culturally aware of what makes Brooklyn so special. We highly recommend her to other looking to explore Brooklyn. I want to book a return trip to spend more time in Brooklyn.
Show moreEd was very communicative from the beginning, trying to customize our tour even though we did not really know what we wanted to see. He met us at Grand Central and guided us on the subway and he did a great job leading us through and included a stop at a great bakery in Williamsburg. He also made sure that we got back to where we needed to be. My husband and I really enjoyed our afternoon and felt that we were meeting with an old friend. Would definitely recommend Ed as a guide, as a native New Yorker, you can tell really loves his city!! Thanks Ed
