I have personally designed this experience to show you London at its best. Enjoy traditional afternoon tea, culinary treats & iconic landmarks as you explore through London's heart. Led by a local host, this experience beautifully combines cultural insights and culinary treats, celebrating London's rich heritage and warm hospitality.
You’ll start your experience with a walk through historic Westminster. This is home to some of the most iconic landmarks. My personal favorite is learning about the amazing Westminster Abbey, home to many royal weddings and coronation ceremonies. There is no shortage of stories to tell around here.
The next place I have planned for you is probably one of the most iconic landmarks and photo spots in the world, you’re going to Big Ben and the houses of parliament. Your host will help you get the best uninterrupted view of the clock tower and get the all important snaps - do share them with me. You could stay all day at The Houses of Parliament, actually named ‘Palace of Westminster’, hear about power struggles, successes and the gunpowder plot. Your host will struggle to cram it all in. Arrive at the right time and you may catch a convoy bringing in an all important MP to the houses.
Sorry to say, you’ll have to move on, there is more to see. You’re on your way to Westminster pier to pick up your boat. Step aboard a charming riverboat for a cruise along the Thames. Glide past landmarks like the London Eye, Tower Bridge and the Shard to name a few. It's a great way to see the city and your host will make sure you don't miss a thing. Be sure to ask just why the Thames was so important to London's maritime history!
You couldn’t visit London without a Royal theme. That's what you will be doing next. You will be brought through St.James’s Park which as well as being a popular local hang out on nice days, has its own impressive history. This isn’t your stop though, it's just a bonus. Buckingham Palace is your destination.
Buckingham Palace has stood since 1703, but not always in its current form. Your host is sure to bring the building, location and its residents to life. I think this is a great location for photos as all around there is something to see. Get your date and timing right, you might witness the changing of the guard ceremony! Don’t worry you can always come back.
I wanted to save one of the best for last. It’s time to indulge in the quintessentially British tradition of afternoon tea at a charming tea room nestled in the heart of London at the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. Savor an array of traditional flavors and decadent treats, served alongside a perfect pot of tea. Remember pinky out as you drink and tell me your best treat.
There is so much to London that I feel like we’re only scratching the surface here. I hope you come back and get more specific with the best bits you take away from your experience.
