Though I've lived in London for most of my life, I love being a tourist in it; taking visitors to see its amazing well-known attractions such as its museums (the Museum of London is my favorite as it offers a terrific insight into the city's past), theatres, cathedrals, palaces, etc, but also its lesser-known hidden gems such as its delightful and colorful open-air markets, parks and streets. I also love taking people to what I call 'village' London; Hampstead tops my list. It's so great to have coffee or ice cream on a street bench there, watch the passers-by watching us, take a look at private residences, and then take a leisurely stroll through the fabulous Hampstead Heath to a tube station on the other side and take a ride on the world's oldest underground railway. I'm also a huge rugby fan, so huge that I bought a house across the road from the homegrown of my favorite team, Saracens. And of course, I love taking visitor rugby fans to matches there.
