From breathtaking views of the city to peaceful temples on summits, join your host on an adventure through the stunning landscape of vibrant Seoul
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Ah, Seoul, a glimmering city lucky enough to have mountain hikes and forest trails right on its doorstep - the best of both worlds! It's believed that these granite mountains serve as the four guardians of the city, contributing to its feng shui and prosperity.
You'll join one of our Seoul hosts as you decide on which of the many walks you'd like to take. They range from mild and scenic, like a stroll along Anyangcheon Stream, to challenging and rewarding - climb a peak and get a glimpse of those views!
There is a trail to suit everybody's ability. Alternatively, if you're fascinated by Seoul's Buddhist temples, exploring the forests of the Bukhansan National Park is a must! For something a little more central, the Namsan Mountain lies in the city's center and perched on top; you'll find N-Seoul Tower - another platform upon which to gaze down at Seoul in all its glory.
After your day of physical exertion, you might need a bite to eat. Snack on a bowl of bibimbap, steaming chueotang (a spicy fish soup served with rice), or japchae (sweet and savory stir-fried glass noodles). It will be a day well spent.

Our tour person, Andrew is the best we have had so far after 5 different cities. He’s professional, knowledgeable and very nice to our children. Strongly recommend him.
Show morePaul was very knowledgeable and gave a very good foundation of Korean history and culture to build on for the rest of our stay in South Korea.
Show moreThis was a fantastic tour! Our tour guide Paul got in touch a few days prior to the tour to confirm where and when to meet and to ensure that we were prepared for the chilly weather. We had no expectations of the day - so asked that he advise us of what we should see. He was fabulous - discussed the history and culture of Korea - and was open to all of our questions (history, culture, politics, religion, day to day life). We saw some amazing sights - and fabulous views. We learnt how to use the local subway (very efficient!). Paul suggested lunch in a local market - with some delicious food. In terms of practicalities - he had good suggestions of clean and comfortable ladies toilets to use during the day (much appreciated). Overall - a fantastic day with a great guide!
Show moreAndrew was a great guide. He provided lots of color and knowledge that added a lot of depth to the tour. He also did a great job of maximizing the time we had for our tour.
Show moreWe had a wonderful time and tour with Thomas for our day in Seoul. It was a wet day and Thomas made it much more enjoyable with close drop offs in a private car to main sites and also provided umbrellas. As an added bonus he gave us a bunch of professional pictures to remember our tour. Highly recommend!
Show moreOur 1/2 day with Jiwan has been the highlight of our trip to Seoul .. we opted for a more Unstructured tour (myself and my 11 year old son) so we could go where the mood took us .. Jiwan was so knowledgeable, so friendly and my son was so sad when the tour finished :). We had street food, market shopping (Jiwan had even researched what my son might like to buy), help to navigate the metro, we really had a great time and would highly recommend Jiwan to anyone wanting a friendly knowledgeable tour guide (and his english was great as well!).
