I did a private walking tour with Ruth on my first day in Seoul. She was absolutely wonderful! She was super friendly, pleasant, and fun to be around. She had great energy! I loved the itinerary she planned for me. She taught me how to use the subway and naver maps right away. First stop was Seoul Sky in the Lotte World Tower. The view was amazing. Then she tested me on how to get to Gangnam and we went to the Starfield Library at COEX and visited the Bongeunsa Temple close by. We took another subway ride to Ikseon-dong to see the cute little hanok turned shops and cafes. We then walked to Insadong and visited some art galleries. We walked towards Gyeongbokgung Palace. It was closed but the gate with the lights was beautiful. We walked down Gwanghwamun Sq to see the statues of King Sejong the Great and Admiral Yi Sun-Sin and there was a live swing dance show. We ended our walking tour in Cheonggyecheon Stream. Throughout the tour she took pictures of me and kept the conversation fun and engaging; filled with history, fun facts, and recommendations. I highly recommend Ruth if you want to learn about Korean culture and history. She was the best!

Wir hatten einen fanstatischen Tag mit unserem Guide Arnaud. Arnaud hat uns Seoul auf eine sehr charmante Art und Weise nah gebracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch gab er uns noch tolle Tipps für unsere nächsten Tage in Seoul. Wir können diese Tour mit Arnaud nur weiterempfehlen. We had a fantastic day with our guide Arnaud. Arnaud introduced us to Seoul in a very charming way. We felt very comfortable. He also gave us great tips for our next days in Seoul. We can only recommend this tour with Arnaud.
