Spend a day exploring the best of a capital fit for vikings and hipsters alike
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Explore one of the happiest cities on earth, nestled between oceans once ventured by Vikings, in a day tailored to your wildest Norwegian wishes, like marveling at the world’s largest sculpture park, and strolling along the heart of the city’s center towards the palace of a king. Backtrack to medieval times outside a fortified castle fit for a shieldmaiden and fast-forward to modernity on the roof of the glacier-like Opera House. For lunch, hop over to Oslo’s coolest borough by the river Grünerløkka, teeming with artsy folk, to an indoor market for a taste of traditional Norwegian meatballs Kjøttkaker. Back near city central, picturesque streets lined with colorful wooden houses await, but skip the crowds to a rockin’ pub for a glass of potato aquavit – skål!

I had a great time with Marianne. She showed me sights and places which I would otherwise overlooked and she gave a lot of background to the places we visited. Very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
Show moreMy guide Mary was a great fit! Her high level of energy was perfect for getting to all of the top sights during my first trip to Oslo. I highly recommend this tour and Mary.

Show moreWe had an 8 hour tour booked and Neil did not disappoint! He was personable and more than knowledgeable about Oslo and its sights. It is a rare guide to keep you entertained and informed over 6 miles of walking and that amount of time.
Show moreNeil is just excellent all the way around! 7 hours with a tour guide walking miles and miles who keeps you entertained is a rare treat!
Show moreMarianne was absolutely fabulous. I gave her a list of what we wanted to see and she planned an amazing day for us. We enjoyed the stories and facts she gave us. The only better would have been if our schedule had allowed a different day since most museums are closed Sundays and Mondays. But, not her fault.
