Hello, I’m Jocelyn, a curious and adventurous local host who loves discovering the vibrant mix of tradition and modern life that makes Fukuoka so special. I’m constantly inspired by the city’s warmth, its welcoming people, and its breathtaking sunsets in every season. You’ll often find me exploring Ohori Koen’s charming bakeries, cozy restaurants, and art museum, or cycling along the beach near Imajuku with a good book in hand. I know Fukuoka’s neighborhoods like Ohori, Daimyo, and Imajuku inside and out, from Daimyo’s hip cafes and thrift shops to the hidden art bookstore in Yakuin with the most indulgent cheesecake beside it. I can’t wait to share my favorite local spots and help you experience Fukuoka’s creative and laid back charm like a true local.

Jocelyn was great! Took us to a bunch of places we wouldn’t have tried on our own

Jocelyn was a very personable and easy going host. Due to my mobility issue, it was very helpful that she was able to adjust things on the fly to accommodate me; very appreciated. She was able to answer all of our questions and provide local insights. It was great to experience the city through someone who lives there. It was also great hearing her experience from another country and getting to know her on a more personal level.
