Hi my name is Daniela and I live in Naples, one of the most lively and original cities of the south Italy. The first thing that I love about Naples is the smell, wherever you are, even in the most hidden streets of the city, you can smell pizza and fish frying in someone’s kitchen. Every tourist should visit Mergellina, the most romantic coastal district of the city, where you can drink a beer or a glass of wine while watching the sun fading away behind the Vesuvius. Every tourist should visit the ruins of Pompeii, the Piazza del Plebiscito, and Toledo, the most attractive places in the city. Famous only for the Neapolitan people, is the ‘via dei presepi’, San Gregorio Armeno, a hidden street in the center of the city, which offers a showcase of all the local crafts concerning the nativity scene.
I’ve lived in Naples for 28 years
I speak English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian
I am museum assistant
Daniella was a perfect host and guide. The day after Christmas in Naples is an extremely busy time. Lots and lots of out of town folks literally clogging up the streets. Daniella was a trooper still able to show us the historic sights of Naples while navigating throngs of people. It was the feel of New Years Eve in NYC in Times Square at 11:45pm on 12/31. She was still very much a gracious and knowledgeable host and very professional. We would absolutely tour with Daniella again. If you are coming to Naples it is a nice city but very much a bit rough around the edges so if you are coming from Rome prepare yourself for a much different type of city feel and experience. I would definitely take it off the list of places to visit especially the day after Christmas which is a holiday here also unless you are looking to be pushing your way through crowds.
Show moreDaniela was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job. Seeing the underground tunnels was a highlight. Worth noting that is a good 25 minute uphill walk to the meeting point at piazza san Domenico Maggiore, NA. From the cruise port
Show moreMy wife and I had a fabulous time walking the streets of Naples with our guide Daniella. We felt immersed in the city, enjoying the sites and sounds. The itinerary was perfectly balanced with historical sites and modern living Naples. We enjoyed a great food and wine tasting and the pizza for lunch was amazing.

I'm Enya, your local host here in the heart of Naples. From historic buildings and narrow alleyways filled with street art to the lively local neighborhoods of Spaccanapoli, Quartiere Sanità, and Quartieri Spagnoli, each step reveals something new. Walking through the city, I'll take you to places like Santa Fede Liberata and Scugnizzo Liberato—abandoned buildings now alive with community events, workshops, concerts, and theater. And, of course, I’ll introduce you to the tastes and smells that define Neapolitan life. Imagine savoring local wines near ancient Greek walls or enjoying a homemade ragú aroma wafting through the streets, cooked just right by Neapolitan mammas. My name is Donatella, and I'm a local host in Naples. I'm known for being kind, warm, trustworthy, and open-minded, making me the perfect person to show you around this fantastic city. One of my favorite things about Naples is the street food! There's nothing quite like trying the local specialties while taking in the sights and sounds of the city. I also love the narrow alleys and the relaxed lifestyle that you can find here. I love discovering new restaurants and pubs and always hunting for the best places to eat in town. I'm also a big fan of walking around the historical center and taking in all of Naples's beautiful architecture and history. I'm familiar with some of the city's best neighborhoods like Vomero, Via Toledo, the Historical Centre, La Sanità, and Fuorigrotta, and I can confidently say that I'm a total expert when it comes to food and where to eat. So if you're looking for a friendly local to show you the best of Naples, I'm your gal! Let's explore this beautiful city together!
I was born in Naples, and I am in love with this city! I find myself in its joyful and warm spirit. I love enjoying Naples's beauty and sharing it with others. Naples is generous in giving emotions through history, art, traditions, and nature. Since childhood, I've discovered wonderful places near my home... a real stroke of luck! I love exploring even the most distant places; all you have to do is hop on a bus or take the subway! I like discovering unusual places, fascinating stories, and Neapolitan anecdotes. Being a huge fan of food, I'm always on the lookout for typical restaurants and places that surprise me. Naples, from this point of view, is a real treasure trove! In Naples, you'll live a unique experience that will stay in your heart and will make you want to return, again and again!
I may not be a connoisseur but I am a foodie and can tell you where to get the best street food (and pizza!) in Naples. I'm also a people's person, and my friends say I am full of energy and very organised - which probably comes from my experience working in the luxury hotel industry for several years. The industry has taught me a few things about the city's history and culture and how it is mixed with modern-day life and the vibrant spirit of its people. I'd love for us to discover all of this together!
This city has magic in every corner, from its vibrant streets to its incredible food and fascinating history. Whether it's a walk through ancient alleys or indulging in a perfect pizza, Naples never fails to inspire me—and I love sharing that inspiration with others. Exploring Naples is my favorite pastime, and I know the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Pompeii, Vesuvius, and Herculaneum like the back of my hand. Whether you're craving the best local dishes or curious about the stories behind our historic landmarks, I’m here to make your visit unforgettable. When I’m not wandering through our picturesque neighborhoods or sampling street food, you’ll find me relaxing and soaking in the Neapolitan vibe. Let me show you the hidden gems, the flavors, and the soul of this incredible city. See you soon.
I left my hometown at the age of 19 looking for new adventures. My very first destination was Ibiza, Spain and after spending the entire summer there I moved to London, UK. This was when traveling became a real passion for me. Now I'm back in Naples and I'm planning to stay for good. I love meeting new people with different backgrounds, exploring new ideas, visiting new places, and trying new food. I couldn't stop listing the many features that make this city so special: from the weather to the landscapes, the breathtaking lookouts, the music, the worldwide famous Pizza, the numerous historic monuments, and so on and on. Every time I come back though, I like treating myself with our traditional but less famous street food like a "crunchy panini" filled with any homemade product your mind may imagine then I hop on my Vespa and go to enjoy the sunset up the St. Alfonzos' Hill; A hill that only a very small portion of locals know about.
Exploring Naples is my greatest passion. I love wandering through neighborhoods like Centro Storico, San Ferdinando, and Sanità, stopping for a savory bite or a sweet treat that always surprises me with how delicious it is. I enjoy browsing second-hand books and CD stalls and losing myself in the intricate streets. There’s always something new to discover, no matter how well I think I know it. I’m passionate about sharing Naples’ rich history, art, architecture, but also stories, anecdotes and culinary traditions with foreigners. From its folklore and craftsmanship to the stories behind every Neapolitan dialect expression or gesture, my goal is to help visitors experience the city’s multifaceted beauty. Whether it’s uncovering hidden gems or savoring iconic local flavors, I can’t wait to show you the heart and soul of Naples!
I’m Serena, your local host in Naples—and a big fan of everything that makes this city so wonderfully chaotic and full of life. I love the Neapolitan mindset: a little wild, always smiling, and full of heart. You’ll often find me wandering the colorful alleys off the beaten path, soaking up local stories, and tasting all the street food I can (because in Naples, diet starts tomorrow!). I know the Historical Center and Monumental District like a true local, and I’m passionate about sharing the city’s rich customs, folklore, food, and art. Get ready for an experience full of flavor, fun, and a touch of magic!
I’m Onofrio, a proud Neapolitan with a deep love for my city’s vibrant soul and fascinating contrasts. What I admire most about Naples is how it has remained truly unique despite the changes in the modern world—there are things that happen here you just wouldn’t see anywhere else! I’m passionate about our history, local traditions, and, of course, the incredible food—both the classics and the modern takes. You’ll usually find me walking by the sea, enjoying the view, or diving into a slice of authentic pizza. I know every corner of Naples, from the Spanish Quarter to Sanità, Chiaia to the historic centre. As a huge football fan, I can also share plenty of insight into SSC Napoli. I look forward to showing you the real Naples—its heart, its humor, and its hidden gems.
What I love most about this city is how it makes you feel at home the moment you arrive—the warmth and energy of the people are unmatched. Naples offers a unique mix of experiences, from its rich history, art, and stunning architecture to its incredible food and vibrant nightlife. I love exploring the city's hidden gems, whether on foot or riding my motorcycle, and discovering new spots for authentic food and unforgettable views. I'm passionate about music, often playing my violin or catching live concerts in the city’s iconic venues. Whether you're after local traditions, arts, or great food, I can show you the best Naples has to offer—beyond the typical tourist trail! Looking forward to having the best adventure with you!
