Ciao, I’m Olmo, your friendly local host here in Florence! I love nothing more than sharing the beauty of my city with others, whether it’s showing my artwork in my home or introducing you to some of my friends. One of my favorite things to do is stroll through the narrow, cobbled streets of the city center, uncovering hidden gems like the charming San Bartolomeo church. Beyond Florence, I know the surrounding areas like Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, and more like the back of my hand, and I’m always happy to share their unique stories with you. My passion is helping you experience Florence in a way that stays in your heart long after you’ve left. We were so thankful to have a tour with Olmo at the start of our time in Florence. He did a fantastic job showing us interesting nooks and crannies of the city. We would definitely recommend this style tour for anyone looking to get off the beaten path and start to understand what makes Florence tick.

Olmo was courteous and thoughtful in his words, presentation and curation of local places around Florence. As an architecture and building buff I appreciated him showing us the elevated walkway built for the Medici family, a local residence, and a jail that was redeveloped into a mixed use center.

Things could not have gone better. Olmo (our guide) picked us up timely at the front of our hotel and we strolled for a couple of hours taking in unique sights with a depth of historical and contextual commentary we never would have been able to ascertain on our own. The guide truly let us guide where we wanted to go and he did the rest. There were also some special side trips outside of the tourist areas where we could get a nice feel for life in Firenze, with a stop even by the guide's home (and a nice little refreshment). Very nice day!

Alessandro’s tour was the highlight of our visit to Florence. He guided us through historic churches, bustling markets, and even took us to a beautiful vineyard where we enjoyed a delicious meal and wine tasting. Alessandro went above and beyond to make the walking tour informative, engaging, and unforgettable. Highly recommended!
