Sunrise to Sunset: the best of Athens in a day

It was so so nice to have George show us around Athens! We took the 5 hour walking tour and as we knew very little about Athens (other than we needed to see some of the famous ancient sites) we were totally in his hands…and he didn’t disappoint! George was Knowledgable and took us on the lesser-trodden routes. We talked music, politics and history; we walked the usual tourist trail and perused hidden gems including the cemetery looking for the graves of the famous & infamous!! We would highly recommend George!

He also opened up a new idea of experiencing Athens neighborhoods and the different vibes of the city. The combination with the ancient history and sites was a good balance. The tour was a great experience, and was very informative. George, my guide, tailored the experience to my interest in architecture very well. We both had a good time visiting several of Athens many neighborhoods and museums. All together, this was a wonderful way to experience the city, as George’s expertise was far more beneficial than any internet ‘top 10’ list would be.
