Must see Berlin with a local

Luca adjusted the time after our cruise messed up when we were getting to Berlin. The only reason I am rating him as excellent is because there is no way to rate him any higher. He absolutely made the trip for us. He was able to connect with us and what we wanted to get out of the trip

It was really lovely to meet Verena and Bruno and to show them around. We had a great connection and the museums they wanted to visit were lovely. They have very warm and big hearts and I hope they have a lovely onward journey and holiday.

Allessandra (City Tour - Berlin) Allessandra is the best! She took us on an expert tour of Berlin that balanced the deep history of the city with the food and culture of the people living there now. We were able to see most all of the expected historic and tourist sites as well as stop into local oriented cafes and shops for snacks and to sample the food and craft beer of Berlin. Allessandra is fun and personable and did an excellent job of guiding us though the day. She was able to give us a great understanding of the city with plenty of personal anecdotes and advice and was extremely helpful with providing suggestions and recommendations for further adventures in Berlin. Awesome tour and we can’t recommend Allessandra enough! Love her!

We can highly recommend this tour. Darren was incredibly enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his city. Because we were interested in the Cold War history of Berlin, he took us to not only the tourist spots but to places of interest that we would not have found on the map. It was fascinating. Because the weather was bad, we had some great coffee stops in quirky cafes. After lunch, we decided that we’d had enough history so Darren suggested that he show us a bit of “his Berlin '' - markets, fantastic street art and areas we probably wouldn’t have discovered. That was the advantage of doing a private tour. Despite the rain...fabulous!
