Hi, I’m Nessie or Vane

When I'm not walking around Paris, I'm a painter in my atelier! 50% Italian and 50% Colombian, I studied at the art school and started the academy of fine arts, and then decided to go on an adventure and travel around the world by myself. I lived 4 years in Australia, spent a period in England and Paris. There's no chance I can go past the La Tour Eiffel without taking a million photos! I can't get tired of discovering new places, eating good french food, walking for kilometers everywhere in the city and visiting museums, art galleries and interesting shops anytime I can! My passion for art, my love for travel and my extroverted (but calm) behavior is what got me in the tourist guide world in the first place here in Paris. My goal is to help you discover the authentic charms of Paris and the french culture and doing it through the eyes and stories of a person who used to be a tourist in this city years ago. If this is your first tour or just one of many (because you are an experienced traveler), it wouldn't change much for me because my main goal is for you to experience Paris to the fullest! Pure fun, hassle-free, and full of great memories!

She was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure I enjoyed my time with her and in Paris. On my first night in the city, I booked “A Night in Paris with a Local”. She provided an excellent walking tour of Le Marais. Vanessa’s recommendations for spots to stop for a drink and dinner were perfect. Over delicious food and wine, we discussed art, travel, current events, and, of course, French food. I enjoyed this experience so much, I booked the “Le Marais Food Experience” for my last day in Paris, which was four days later. Vanessa knows the spots for food that would be nearly impossible to find without a local. I loved the places she selected for tastings. It was a personalized tour and we weren’t committed to certain restaurants. This flexibility was great. Vanessa provided options and suggestions and I was able to try what I wanted. We also stopped in several boutiques. I learned more about Le Marais as we strolled through the neighborhood on a beautiful afternoon in Paris. In between tours, Vanessa was generous with her time and gave recommendations and advice for dining and activities. I recommend Vanessa without any reservations. She is enthusiastic, prepared, and is an excellent host for travelers in Paris.
