What travelers think of our Edinburgh experiences
With Richard we had a great experience with in Edinburgh. What stood out immediately was how well-structured and efficient the tour was no wasted time, but never felt rushed. Richards combined strong historical knowledge with engaging storytelling, which made the city feel alive rather than just a series of landmarks. He was also very good at reading us a family so adjusting pace, answering questions thoughtfully, and adding small details you wouldn’t get from a typical scripted tour. Overall, this was a high-quality experience and easily one of the better city tours I’ve done. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh who wants more than just surface-level information.
Show moreDoug was waiting for us at the meeting point at the agreed time. We walked together around the city explaining the most important aspects at each stop. Great stories and valuable historical information. He is an easy going and flexible guide who we recommend to contact, specially if you want to cover the best places of this beautiful city in a short time visit and at your own pace.
Show moreThe historical facts were great! She told us this crazy story in the church graveyard that was fascinating and our kids just loved!
Show moreLee was an amazing guide. We learned so much about the lovely city of Edinburg and there is so much to see and do. Lee worked in all of our requests, and I would recommend this tour to all my friends and family.
Show moreRichard provided us with an excellent tour, and we truly enjoyed it! It was very informative, and we learned so much about Scotland’s history today! I would highly recommend Richard to anyone! Thank you so much again for going above and beyond our expectations today!
Show moreFabulous tour and will definitely book Jen again when I return to Edinburgh. I had a tween and a toddler in a pushchair. Jen planned an itinerary which was pushchair accessible and that kept my tween fascinated. She has gone back to school full of information on Edinburghs history and culture. I also learnt lots and more importantly we all had fun. Jen is lovely and my toddler loved her (she doesn’t like anyone so that’s the highest recommendation you can get) If you are pondering over whether it is worth the money, it is! Book now and you will not regret it

What you’ll do
You’ll spend a few hours following your Edinburgh host around the beautiful city of Edinburgh, as they create a route for you that is just as unique as your family is!
Edinburgh is infinitely walkable thanks to its compact size, so not to worry about little legs getting tired. You and your tribe will love winding your way through the cobbled streets of Old Town. It feels just like something out of the middle ages, only with much better food.
Visit Edinburgh Castle if you’re feeling feudal, or if the heavens open (which they invariably do), check out an interactive museum.
If there’s energy to burn off, why not take a trip to Holyrood Park and climb Arthur’s Seat?
When you get hungry your host will take you to a cozy eatery, where the youngsters can tuck into a tasty, authentic Scottish meal.
They’ll be sure to take note of any dietary needs and don’t worry, we know that a “fussy eater” is a completely legitimate requirement with kids - although maybe you’ll want to try some haggis and hear the legend of the mythical haggis!
Pack your bag(pipes), kick back, and let us help you create special memories with your family to last a lifetime!
