We had a great day and got to know Edinburgh well.

Show moreCal did a wonderful job taking us around Old Town. He has so much knowledge about the city and truly loves living in Edinburgh. He gave us a dinner recommendation and even ended our tour there to ensure we were taken care of. Great service!! Cal has a very thick Italian accent that was a little difficult for us to understand, but that’s our fault for only speaking English. Cal is a great ambassador for Edinburgh! So energetic, kind, and full of great information!
Show moreII will always take a private tour when I travel and spending a few hours with Lilia discovering Edinburgh was amazing. She picked me up on time which was great and a few weeks beforehand maybe even a month she asked me what I wanted to do and she sent me an itinerary of what we would be doing which I thought was very personal and nice of her. The day was spent exploding as well as a few hidden gems . Her knowledge and love for Edinburgh showed. I will choose her over and over again. She ‘s very sweet and funny . We chatted like old friends.. The day after the tour with her, I was able to maneuver my way around Edinburgh, so easily .

What you’ll do
You’ve just spent some time in the city’s most famous attraction, Edinburgh Castle – now it’s time to meet up with a local host and see what Edinburghers get up to in Auld Reekie.
You’ll be guided from the Castle through the charming Old Town, a historic district that’s home to many of the city’s top entertainment spots, from traditional Scottish restaurants to modern museums (and many quaint, cobbled streets that inspired Harry Potter).
You could grab a humble cheese toastie and a moment of peace away from the crowds at Dunbar’s Close, a 17th-century-style secret garden, then stroll slowly up a winding trail to Arthur’s Seat, an extinct volcano and a tranquil oasis far from the crowds.
