What travelers think of our Edinburgh experiences
We easily met Gee in Waverley Station, our meeting point. After a short introduction we started an interesting walking tour that he adapted to our interests and wishes. He is a great storyteller and showed us lot of hidden gems and remarkable details in and on the Edinburgh streets. We had a nice lunch in The Last Drop. We concluded our tour, that covered all the main places of interest, with a good beer in a beautiful pub. He made our visit to Edinburgh one of the highlights on our cruise.

Show moreGiselle was amazing! She took me for a 4 hour tour around Edinburgh so that I could capture images of the city in off the beaten track locations. I came away with not only all the images I was hoping for, but the tour was couched in fascinating historical, architectural, and cultural information. Giselle was the best and I would recommend her highly!
Show moreMy guide was wonderful. He clearly had a lot of passion for Scottish history, and he explained everything so well! Two thumbs up!
Show moreSarah was the single most wonderful tour guide I have had in my lifetime of travelling (36 countries & counting)! My boyfriend and I toured Edinburgh with her for an afternoon, and she was very knowledgeable and friendly! We learned so much about the city in our 4 hours with her. In the end, it felt like we truly made a new best friend. I cannot say enough about Sarah and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a fun and informative tour guide while in Scotland. Grazie mille, Sarah!

What you’ll do
Welcome to the beating heart of the highlands, where the sea meets sky and ancient monuments perch atop rocky crags. Follow one of our Edinburgh hosts as you explore Edinburgh’s stunning natural surroundings together, from trails up Arthur’s Seat to catch sight of the city from above, to the windswept coastal paths.
Tackle the imposing hillsides, stroll through the quiet glades, or simply enjoy a lazy afternoon in one of the city’s parks.
The Meadows is a popular picnic destination, as is Holyrood Park, where you can stretch out on a blanket and bask in the happy sounds of friends gathering, balls being kicked around (mind your head) and dogs being walked.
Perhaps you and your host would like to visit the Botanical Gardens together, where you can get a comprehensive feel for the kinds of flora that naturally occur in this part of the world?
Scotland’s natural beauty has inspired many myths - ask your host to share a few tales of auld with you, and as the bagpipes carry across the wind, you’ll be transported back in time.
