Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Get ready for a whirlwind adventure through Bangkok – we're diving headfirst into the vibrant chaos of this incredible city. From markets to train stations, this experience is packed with everything that makes Bangkok so thrilling. With your host showing you the best of Bangkok, you’re in for an extraordinary experience. Let's do this!
First up, you'll be hitting Chatuchak Weekend Market, the mother of all markets in Bangkok. It's massive – think over 8,000 stalls spread across 27 acres. You name it, they've got it: clothes, accessories, home decor, antiques, pets (yes, really!), and street food that will make your taste buds dance. Your host will show you where to find the best keepsakes here. Keep an eye out for the sections with local crafts and art – great for unique souvenirs. And don't miss the coconut ice cream; it's the perfect way to cool down while you shop till you drop.
After conquering Chatuchak, it's time to dive into the vibrant workd of Bangsue Junction Shopping Center. A haven for vintage lovers, this bustling mall is packed with hidden treasures waiting to be discovered. Lose yourself in a maze of stalls, each offering unique finds that will transport you to another era.
Next, head to Or Tor Kor Market, a bit of a hidden gem compared to some of Bangkok's other markets. Or Tor Kor Market is a food lover's paradise. It's not as sprawling as Chatuchak, but it's packed with fresh produce, gourmet goodies, and local delicacies. The fruits here are like works of art – perfectly arranged and incredibly fresh. Don't be shy; ask for samples! And let your host introduce you to some delicious new flavors. I highly recommend trying the mangoes – they're sweet, juicy, and just perfection. If you're feeling adventurous, pick up some durian (if you dare) or indulge in some Thai sweets.
As the sun begins its descent, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, it's time to immerse yourself in the enchanting atmosphere of Train Night Market DanNeramit, your final stop. Nestled within the grounds of an old amusement park, this vibrant market is a haven for night owls seeking unique finds and delicious treats. Explore the labyrinth of stalls, each brimming with character and offering something special. From vintage fashion to handcrafted souvenirs, you'll discover treasures that reflect the city's eclectic spirit
Your host will know where to find unique souvenirs; this is the place to find something extraordinary. And when hunger strikes (because it will), indulge in some grilled seafood or spicy noodles – the choices are endless. Wrap up your night with a cold beer or a refreshing Thai iced tea. Trust me, you'll leave with a heart full of memories and maybe a suitcase full of souvenirs.
So there you have it – a day or night in Bangkok filled with adventure, food, and a whole lot of fun. Enjoy every moment, take lots of photos, and embrace the chaos. Bangkok never disappoints!

The Legendary Kat was in fact awesome. It was like having a tour with a friend. She went at our pace, set the schedule per our tastes, and adjusted on the fly. We had a great time, and can highly recommend this tour package, and Kat in particular. For transportation and entrance fees, you need to have about B3000 to B4000 for a couple, extra for spending money, and of course tips!
Show moreWith only a short time in Bangkok, my friends and I decided to book a tour to get the most out of our time. We arranged a walking tour with City Unscripted Bangkok and were paired with a wonderful guide named Pakkard. She showed us her city and culture with enthusiasm and took amazing care of us. We saw so much in a short amount of time and left the experience feeling very fulfilled. We are extremely grateful to our guide, Pakkard, and City Unscripted Bangkok for their service!
Show moreChiara was a fantastic host in Tokyo. We gave her a wish list and she did a great job trying to take us to all the places we wanted to see in the most organized way. We loved Tokyo and she had everything to do with that. We were with her for 2 1/2 days. The half day was marred by the fact that it snowed so the weather made it difficult to see what we wanted to that day. Of course, weather is just something you have to deal with on vacation and we made the best of it.
Show moreKat brought us to all the places we wanted to see while being mindful of the heat and a person in our party with mobility issues. We absolutely loved Bangkok and we credit her with that. She spoke English well too.
Show moreWe had a walking tour of the main attractions in Bangkok. We started at the flower market , did a trip around the canal , had lunch and finished with the Gran Palace. Our guide, Buay was wonderful. Full of historical knowledge . I also wanted to buy some things and he took me to the store that had exactly what i wanted. Overall a great experience
Show moreIt made it very easy to see the main attractions that we wanted. Tom is very knowledgeable, kind, friendly and helpful. We really wouldn’t have got to see and learn in the amount of time by ourselves. Bangkok is a wonderful place. He arrived before the booked time to meet us and stayed even later than we booked him for. Thanks Tom!
