I went on a Bangkok food tour with Kat who was a fantastic guide. We still stay in touch and she provided a great insight into local Thai food. She introduced me to several new foods that I would have never had the courage to try on my own!

Kat, our host, was fantastic! We ate a lot of amazing food at the night market in Chinatown...duck noodles, pork over rice, egg tarts. Everything was delicious but the best ones included pork satay, gingery glass noodles with shrimp, bread stuffed with a sticky milk syrup, and homemade red soda that was reminiscent of Faygo Red which was fun. Kat really personalized the tour too. When we mentioned that we hadn’t had a chance to get souvenirs (it was our last night in Thailand), she got us a taxi and went over to Asiatique on the waterfront to pick up a bunch of little souvenirs. A great experience overall.

Kat took us on a great food tour of Bangkok's Chinatown. She knew a number of the vendors and has a passion for the food. She was a lot of fun to spend time with. And when we expressed interest - and were worn out by the heat - she took us to a new mall to see a different kind of Bangkok shopping.
