Geek out in Akihabara, Tokyo's pop-culture paradise

We were lucky to have such a wonderful guide in Kay. He spent so much time taking us through the anime areas we were interested in and showing us how the locals shop for these items. After that we went on a local cultural tour to a nearby Shrine and a Japanese garden. Both incredibly lovely places. Kay was friendly, knowledgeable and just a lovely person and his English was excellent. Highly recommended.

Ryo (Leo) was an awesome guide and really customized the tour to what I was interested in! We saw so much of Sapporo, and it was great to get a sense of the city from his perspective, having lived here for many years. Even outside of the tour, Ryo provided some wonderful recommendations for the rest of my time in Sapporo and other cities I would be visiting in Japan. I was a solo traveler, and it felt like having one of my friends show me around his city!

The agency surveyed our interests, and she took our feedback seriously; Karen even reached out to specify our interests. She hit all the points I wanted, added extra stops to personalize our tour, and focused on areas of interest to us. Karen suggested places to go after the tour, and her recommendations were spectacular. Karen is a great speaker, listener, and storyteller. I threw dozens of questions at her, and she listened intently and gave comprehensive, interesting answers. I was spellbound by some of Karen\'s stories, and I learned a lot about Hong Kong. In brief: Karen made me love Hong Kong even more than I expected. 10/10 would have another tour with Karen.

For example we stopped for a fresh baguette when we noticed someone eating one as the walked by. He had great local knowledge and really introduced us to a side of Paris we would’ve never seen without him.
