We had a wonderful day! The guide was so friendly and had clearly put a lot of thought into personalising the tour for us, catering to our specific interests. The guide was so good, we are already planning our return to Nagoya. Thank you so much!

We loved seeing a variety of what Nagoya has to offer in one day, such as mixture cultural sites and experiences, and shopping areas.

This is a great tour, with many options. We chose Nagoya Castle, and because we weren't interested in shopping, we asked our guide before the trip if we could do Tokugawaen Garden. We were so lucky an amazingly knowledgeable and very flexible guide, Toshi, agreed to take us to both places. The Castle is amazing, both inside an out, with a long history. The collection of artwork inside the castle, on floors, ceilings and walls, is mind-boggling. Tokugawaen Garden was equally impressive, but because we took so many photos at both places it took longer than the time allocated for our trip. Toshi could not have been more obliging, even taking us back to the Cruise Terminal where he both collected and returned us. This was greatly appreciated, since we are not experienced train travellers. We are so glad to have Toshi as our guide.

Todo bien para ser en inglés. Pudimos ir por el subway y sirvió de mucha ayuda. Los templos bien y todo lo demas. Everything was fine considering it was in English. We were able to use the subway, which was very helpful. The temples were good, and everything else was great too.

What you’ll do

From its rich industrial history at an automotive giant to its current reputation as a fast-paced cosmopolitan hub (and major otaku hotspot thanks to downtown Osu), Nagoya is a must-see city for too many reasons to squeeze into four hours. But with a local host as the world’s most efficient GPS, you could be endlessly entertained in the downtown districts, from weaving through throngs at ultra-futuristic Oasis 21 mall next to the iconic Nagoya TV Tower to testing your luck at a hidden pachinko parlor - the popular slot machine invented right here in the city. Or, discover Japanese tradition at the historic Port of Nagoya or the Japanese-style Shirotori Garden for a teahouse ceremony.
