I’m Elena, a local host in Lecce, and I love sharing this city in a warm, genuine way. What fascinates me most is the golden Baroque light, when the sun touches Lecce stone and the facades come alive. I enjoy wandering through hidden courtyards and lively squares, soaking in the slow and authentic rhythm of daily life, and stepping into small shops to watch artisans at work so I can feel part of a living tradition. You’ll often find me tasting the true flavors of Salento after a walk through the streets and shops of the historic center, or enjoying a long brunch after yoga or a walking session in the city parks. I know the city center and neighborhoods very well, and as a Salento food expert I love talking about local cuisine, as well as traditions linked to tarantism, witches, and the healers of Salento.
