Family day in Bologna with a local

My brother and I decided to do a day trip to Bologna from Venice. The train ride was just ocer and hour. Fortunately, we found the option to do the day tour for a few hours and were very happy with the results of the quantity of time. More importantly, our tour guide , Claudio was the most considerate and knowledgeable person we couid have hoped for. We walked significantly but it want too taxing. It was great to learn about the great historical nuggets about the city. In addition, he offered some great recommendations to eat and we were very pleased to have dined in this food forward city. If you happen to get him as a guide consider yourself lucky

We had great time on our tour. Andrea, our guide, was very friendly and informative. He told us many stories of the history of Bologna. We visited several markets including the Christmas Market. I definitely recommend this tour.

It was one of the hottest days in Bologna, Mirko has chosen a tour where we could mostly walk in the shade and stopping to refresh with some of the best ice creams. We got a very good overview of Bologna, seeing the most famous and also some more hidden sights accompanied with historical Information and interesting stories. We enjoyed our tour very much.

We decided to meet Claudio on the day we arrived in Bologna and it was the best decision we made. We learned to navigate the city, heard about the amazing history of the place, found a few facts we would have never known about and he even gave us a list of places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, many of which we tried and were amazed by how good they were. A little pasta place which had a long queue of locals but was hard to understand how it worked so if we'd gone past it we never would have tried it and it would have been a real shame as it was amazing!! Claudio was great with our 2 year old and we even met him for aperitivos the following evening as we became friends. I look forward to meeting him again!
