My father and I had a wonderful day trip to Modena, Italy on 31 March 2019 arranged through City Unscripted. We had the most wonderful local guide - Sofia. The day couldn't have been better! Sofia knew so much about the area and was so lovely. We will remember it forever. City Unscripted did a wonderful job matching us with a suitable guide based on our interests. Thank you Sofia and City Unscripted! If you would like to go on a walking tour of Bologna or Modena, ask for Sofia. You wont be dissapointed :-)

Gabriele was fantastic in not only taking us around Modena and Bologna but also ensuring the rest of our stay in the area was easy to navigate from trains to restaurants to shopping. Could not be more pleased to start our trip with him.

We had a lovely day with Gabriele. His English was excellent and he had a friendly and engaging manner and concentrated on what we wanted to see and know rather than just going through a set agenda. We finished a little early and, on return to Bologna, he showed us some of the highlights. Would recommend him to anyone.

Jonathan gave us a great tour, entirely at our own pace, taking in many of the sites and pointing us towards others we could visit later. He gave us tips about shopping, transport, food & dining as well as historical context and stories. We can highly recommend Jonathan as your guide to Bologna! He also took charge of the wheelchair so my husband could walk and I could take photos. A very kind man. P.s. he knows a super gelateria.
