What you’ll do
Did you know you’re in the birthplace of Pilsner? Oh, you lucky thing. Bohemia’s beer-making reputation is world-famous, so it’s only right that you do some sampling while you’re here - just to see what all the fuss is about, you know?
You’ll join one of our local Prague hosts who can’t wait to show you the real beer culture of their city, which is a world away from any stag-party nightmares you may be picturing.
Together, you’ll wander (not stagger) between three independent breweries, sampling six different brews along the way. You’ll sip beers at the oldest micro-brewery in Prague, and learn a little about Bohemia’s beer history and the brewing processes - all in the name of history, of course.
From here, you’ll visit two other brewhouses - we recommend a visit to the Strahov Monastery Brewery, where they know a thing or two about the amber nectar having been brewing it since the 13th century.
Then try out unpasteurized and unfiltered lagers at Pivovar Bašta or visit Vinohradský Pivovar, where you can pick from five beers on tap and an extensive, rotating menu of craft brews. Pull up a pew, we reckon you’ll want to stay awhile here.
