Feast on Hong Kong’s favorite snack, fish balls, which you’ll find served in a variety of ways, from boiled in noodle soup to fried and dipped in heady curry sauce. Then what about some dishes that’ll have you thinking twice? Snake soup is the perfect warm-up in winter, and dim sum with chicken feet is an experience for the adventurous! You’ll be glad of your host's local ordering skills when you visit a cha chan teng for Yangzhou fried rice. At these informal eateries, food is fast, cheap and wildly tasty - but there might not be a menu! Make your own mind up about the polarizing texture of fake shark fin soup and rice rolls, and indulge in silky tofu pudding from your host’s go-to street hawker for dessert.
Embrace the ultimate fusion of east and west, a collision that has produced some of the tastiest street food in the world. You’ll explore Kowloon, the raw, authentic mainland area of the city which sits on the northern shores of Victoria Harbor. Crunch down on deep-fried goodies in Mong Kok, a buzzing pocket of central Kowloon where the only thing more kaleidoscopic than the flavors are the neon lights above. Indulge in decadent roast goose and hand-made coffee in Tsim Sha Tsui, the region’s southern urban hub. Discover your host’s favorite streetside cha chan teng eateries in Nathan Road - Kowloon’s oldest street - that radiate the mesmerizing, tastebud-tingling smells of snake soup, pineapple buns, fish balls, and tofu pudding.

We had an amazing host (Rachel). She took us to several different parts of the city and we tried a number of different foods. This was a great way for us to start our visit to the city. However, it was actually after our excursion that we really appreciated. Due to the protests our flight was canceled and we ended up staying two extra days in Hong Kong. Rachel contacted us to make sure we were okay and also to give us suggestions for other things to do during our unexpected extended stay. We would definitely recommend the company and the guide for anybody coming to Hong Kong.

The tour I had together with Victor was just more than awesome. I learned so much about the history, culture and the latest topics that concern the people of Hongkong and worldwide. I had so many questions myself and it was just amazing to actually get them answered: that was a great basis for easy but also controversial talks- but I always felt good about it and definitely was respected. Also it was most interesting to see the variety of markets here- beginning with a wet market where really everything was fresh. Guys out there- I would highly recommend this tour to you if you really want to get to know something about Hongkong.

Throughout the three hour tour of Kowloon Victor was a polite and engaging guide, pointing out interesting points along the way and giving us an honest view of life in Hong Kong. We would definitely recommend booking with him.
Just because it’s not here doesn’t mean we can’t offer it.
