What travelers think of our USA experiences
What you’ll do
You’ll join one of our local NY hosts to discover all that is to be found in Lower Manhattan. Alright, maybe not all; there’s too much to see, eat, drink, and do, but you will enjoy a taste (literally, you’ll be doing some eating) of Chinatown, SoHo, and Little Italy.
Where to begin? It’s up to you, actually - just let us know what your vibe is and if there are any spots you’ve been dreaming of seeing.
We would recommend perusing the delis in Little Italy, though, which have been in the same families for generations, and trying a cannoli or two, then paying homage to NY’s very first pizzeria (by eating a slice, obviously).
Get lost (no, not literally) in the maze of streets in vibrant Chinatown and haggle for a bargain with a street vendor, stop for some dim sum, and then stroll through trendy SoHo, discover its hidden gems that most people miss in their mad dashes around the city!
Lower Manhattan is a surprising kaleidoscope of history, cultures, communities, and flavors that go far beyond just the tourist sights you might have, so get ready to discover another side of this famous area and see the real Manhattan.
