What you'll do
Perhaps you'll begin your journey with a stroll through a seasoned neighbourhood famed for its literary roots, counting the blue plaques which chronicle London's Literary past. Here you could venture into the former home of (arguably) the most iconic Victorian author or stop by a historic pub and park frequented by the infamous Bloomsbury Set.
Or, if you're more interested in the theatrical side of literary London, you could stop off at a truly time-honoured tavern known for being a popular haunt of Shakespeare, and later Dickens. If contemporary literature is more your jam, there is still plenty to see and choose from - take a trip to platform 9 and three quarters or perhaps a hidden pub in Greek Street cited by many popular authors.
If you're keen to pick up a few new, preloved or perhaps rare texts, take a trip with your local to Charing Cross, where some of the best independent and quirky bookstores still stand.

Bloomsbury and beyond
Hi Anna, We were met by the delightful Elle on Saturday and enjoyed a relaxed and interesting walking tour of the city. The route was perfectly tailored for our group and each one of us thought it was a lovely way to spend a view hours together while learning a bit more about London. Thank you so much for your communication prior to our trip and to Elle for her time, guidance and company.

Mrs Dalloway come to life
I love Virginia Woolf and coming to London was a dream come true and meeting Elle who showed me the real life sites where she lived and took inspiration for her novels was very emotional. I even extended the tour and we explored Mrs Dalloway's London and it was incredible to live one of my favorite novels of all time! Thank you for this experience!

It was such a chilled out and great way to explore the literary side of London that I have been dying to see since becoming a fan of Dickens! Angela was great and very knowledgeable and we found a mutual love of literary characters. Totally recommed it!
