We were very delighted with our 3 hour foodie tour. It was our first visit to Porto and our second time having a private tour with City Unscripted. Simon, our guide, touched base a week before meeting up and we told him what kinds of things we liked when visiting. He arrived at the hotel and he chose a wonderful selection of port tasting, desserts, fish dishes at the food market and authentic Portuguese cuisine dishes, such as deep fried sardines at the popular eateries where the locals go. We did this while exploring back streets, which is exactly what we asked for. Simon has travelled a lot and he provided so much insight into the Porto way of life. Simon was also very generous with his time...it was lovely to see the river front after sunset. We couldn't eat everything so Simon had us bring our tastings back to the hotel for us to enjoy the next day. Our leisure walk last an hour extra but Simon wanted to show us the train station, the river front, old streets and we enjoyed looking at the shops where they sell such a wide selection of items. I highly recommend this tour and we will be back to the lovely Porto city.

Show moreWe had a private 6 hour walking tour of Porto with our wonderful guide Mayinka. She showed us the “must see” areas of her city, explaining the history and cultural background as stopped to explore. We also explored different areas that were not touristy, but just as lovely.
