See the top 10 must sees in this cozy capital intertwined with charm and innovation.
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Waste no time in a cozy capital teeming with must-see landmarks, like a larger-than-life sculpture park, or the Neoclassical Royal Palace in the city center (return at 13:30 to see the changing of the guard). A stone's throw away, see home to the famous artwork The Scream, as you meander along a flower-lined street towards the stage of the National Ballet and the neo-Romanesque Parliament. Had enough of the classics? Head harbor-side to see ferries depart for the scenic Oslo Fjord, snap a pic outside the inspirational Nobel Peace Center, and drop a GPS pin at a popular boat bar before strolling along the Aker Brygge Promenade dotted with angelic sculptures. A fortress fit for a Viking awaits, then pop over to the Opera House for a dose of innovative architecture.

Sheena was amazing, very knowledgeable, kind and and cultural. We went to all parts of Oslo which you normally wouldn't know to go. Despite the weather being cold and snowy, she was able to cover a large portion of the city. We had a nice coffee break in the middle of the tour. I would certainly highly recommend her
Show moreMarianne is a fabulous guide. She tailors the tour around your needs and is fascinating to talk to. Cannot recommend more highly.
Show moreMarianne attended on time. She was polite, friendly and welcoming. She gave us an overview of the walk and what would be seen to ensure we were happy with the itinerary. She made adjustments to the walk as we went to suit our choices. She observed our difficulties with mobilising due to one of us being blind by ensuring the pace of walking was set by us. We didn’t feel rushed or pushed into decisions about directional changes. She was respectful and natural in her interactions. We enjoyed her views and anecdotes shared. We would recommend her as a city guide to other travellers too Oslo looking to orientate themselves with what Oslo has to offer.

They couldn't have picked a better guide than Sheenam! Sheenam was not only knowledgeable but also truly passionate about the city. During our two-hour walking tour, she expertly guided me through both the popular highlights and the hidden gems that most tourists miss. Her deep understanding of the city’s architecture and history made the experience even more enriching. Every corner we turned, she had a fascinating story to share, making the tour not only informative but also engaging and fun. I highly recommend Sheenam for anyone looking for a well-rounded, personalized, and immersive experience. She truly exceeded my expectations!
