Amazing personalized food tour we have ever experienced ! Alan was beyond helpful and knowledgeable, accommodating each of our requests and likes. Alan was energetic and engaging the entire tour by asking thoughtful and sincere questions of each of my family members. Not only did Alan go out of his way to give us the best experience, he made sure to give suggestions for the rest of visit in Amsterdam. We were touring with our adult college kids. Alan made sure to share fun ideas, shopping, and food to entertain their interest also. Alan was extremely flexible and immediately adjusted to our likes and dislikes, even introducing my daughter to the best vintage clothing store she ever shopped in. Alan went above and beyond by gifting my son an Amsterdam T-shirt also. Alan was courteous in contacting me the day before in preparing and confirming our meeting point. Alan is a true professional and top notch tour guide!

Aarre guided us around for 3 hours showing off well-known and lesser-known areas of Amsterdam. It was the perfect way to recover after an all-night flight with very little sleep. He's knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, which made all the difference.

We took the 6 hour tour. Alan Lazar, our tour guide, took us around the city to places and neighborhoods we would never have found ourselves. He is extremely knowledgeable, is able to easily communicate with and friendly to be with. He gave us history and many local facts. We are both in our 70s and Alan kept the pace perfect for us. We saw beautiful canal houses, fabulous architecture and historical buildings. Alan explained everything we saw including many anecdotes. Along the way we stopped Winkles, the best cheesecake in town, a very local restaurant for lunch, a great Cheese shop and a chocolatier. Just what we wanted.
