Ah Amsterdam, you dreamy thing. You’ll join one of our local Amsterdam hosts, as they show you their mischievous city in a bespoke experience tailored just for you! Orientate yourself among the Golden Age canals as you take to the cobbled streets - there’s no telling what you might find.
Tulip traders, floating bookstores, monasteries converted into homes, hidden gardens, vinyl stores, and witty streetside attractions are all waiting for you. Don’t be afraid to ask your host questions and take advantage of their local know-how.
Sip on cold brew coffees as you stop by at the Van Gogh Museum, or visit the authentic architectural wonder that is Beginhof. We had a wonderful, fun time with Alan. We had just had a stressful situation at our hotel (our reservation had been cancelled) and had taken the train into Central Amsterdam (busy and a bit discombobulating due to language barrier). Alan immediately stated that we would have a relaxed and "pretty" time - and we did! When it was time to part, he knew I was a bit stressed about finding the correct platform at the train station. He looked it up and walked us to the escalator taking us directly to our train. Ahhhh...... that was so appreciated!
