What travelers think of our Mexico City experiences
I only had a short time to see the city and Lando made sure I got the most out of my visit. He is very knowledgeable about the city's history and I learned a lot!
Show moreRoberto was wonderful. I booked this tour less than 48 hours before we were going to meet him, and he promptly connected with us via email and shared his phone number. He was prompt when he picked us up at the airport, and made us feel like our experience was one of a kind as he walked and talked us through the tourist highlights of the city. When my husband was feeling sick, he immediately encouraged us to take a beat. I cannot recommend Roberto enough!
Show moreYara was a lovely tour guide. She took me to a couple of lovely areas, explained the history and culture really well, and took me to some lovely places to try the local cuisine!
Show moreNicolas gave an excellent walking tour of downtown Mexico City. We had no knowledge of the city, so we just let him decide what to see. Nico arranged a walking tour from the modern business district to the ancient Zocalo. It was fascinating to see the history unfold in reverse order. Nico was very patient with a group of very tired gringos who awoke at 4 am to catch a flight from Mazatlan (eclipse viewing trip). We stopped for coffee to gain energy. The evening was capped off with a fantastic restaurant recommendation from Nicolas. We were very pleased with the trip!
Show moreI knew almost nothing about Mexico City and in four short and packed jours, Monica showed me archeology, art, architecture and history. I had no idea what to expect and the morning far exceeded my expectations. Monica was sensitive and flexible and patient as I took many photos. She is friendly and the perfect person to see a new city with. I will definitely come back— this was just an amuse bouche!
Show moreIngrid was wonderful. We had a really fantastic experience on this layover tour. We loved the markets and making fresh guacamole at a local food stand was an extra treat.

What you’ll do
Trade-in airport food for authentic Mexican tacos, the lounge for the Bosque de Chapultepec, and souvenir stores for the real deal! Allow one of our Mexican hosts to bust you out of the airport and onto the green, historic, bustling streets of Mexico City, where there’s so much to discover, regardless of your time constraints.
Maximize the limited hours you have to spend in Mexico’s fascinating capital and explore a historic neighborhood, like Coyoacán, where you can wander off to find La Casa Azul, the previous home of Mexican icon Frida Kahlo. Stretch out your legs in a nearby park, before those legs take you to a nearby street food vendor.
Where do we begin? Tamales, tacos, conchas, you name it, it just tastes better in Mexico, and with good company. Luckily, you have both, good company and are in Mexico.
Time for a spot of shopping at a local market, and grab some last-minute gifts for those at home, all before you’re signed, sealed, and delivered back to the airport in time for your flight, your host will make sure of it!
