A Half Day In Kanazawa With A Local: Private & Personalized

Akari was a great guide! She took us to try some delicious local foods and also showed us the historic parts of Kanazawa. She is very knowledgeable about the city and gave us some further recommendations.

Zarina was amazingly sweet considerate and very knowledgeable!

Zarina was well versed at Sapporo history and culture. She also was able to save us considerable time and money steering us clear of the tourist traps and showing us alternate stores and restaurants that were cheaper and closer to our hotel. She was also extremely flexible and was able to meet us at a different location as the original meeting place did not get relayed to her. Overall she was a wonderful guide I would higher recommend who was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, flexible and spoke English and Japanese very well! She was a 10 out of 10 guide. Strongly recommend!

We had a wonderful time with our tourguide Zarina. She was extremely kind and patient. We started our tour much later than it was originally scheduled for because of the weather delay on the way from Tokyo to Sapporo. She was very accommodating and tried very hard to make us see and fall in love with Sapporo the way that she does.

This tour was a great introduction to Tokyo, making it feel much more approachable. I loved the fact that we went everywhere by public transportation, and walked around each area, as it gave me a chance to really get a feel for things. My guide, Api, was wonderful, and I felt as though I was being shown around the city by a friend.

Milos was an excellent guide! I spent half a day with him touring Kyoto. He was a wealth of historical knowledge, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Milos has in-depth information on culture, religion, politics, different eras, the arts, as well as insights into modern Japanese culture. He is easy going, flexible with the itinerary, patient, happy to stop for snacks, helped me navigate the train system, and as per my request, directed me toward the local artisans shops for a few gifts. We covered a lot of ground by foot and train, and although it was very cold out, the hours seemed to fly by. I highly recommend Milos. You will have a fantastic tour with him.

Alberto is an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. Had a great time walking around some of Tokyo’s gems.

Mi organized the perfect itinerary based on the time and guidance that I provided on how to spend the day.

We visited a nice balance of well-known and off the beaten track places. She shared the historical significance to give a real sense of the culture and the city. We had a lovely day of sightseeing, a bit of shopping, traditional lunch and ended the day with Geisha performance. It was absolutely perfect.

We got to go to places more off the grid and experienced parts of saporro we haven’t seen yet.
