Foodie experience!

This was a great way to sample lots of different foods that are characteristic of Osaka. Fumiko took us to several destinations to try different local foods, such as Kobe beef on a skewer, cabbage pancakes, octopus balls, and numerous other local foods. We ended the tour in the Dontonbori district, which was a great way to glimpse Osaka nightlife. If you are curious about local street food this is the tour for you!

Our guide adapted what we did and where we went as we saw different things that interested us

We stopped at a pig cafe, for macha strawberries and went to a specific store our granddaughter. Went down alley for street artists and then a shopping center with a green terrace all because he listened to our interests.

This was a great tour of Tokyo! Taka was amazing at staying in touch in planning the tour. Taka took us to some of the major shrines and a few different parts of Tokyo where we talked a lot about different customs and Japanese culture. He took time to get to know us before taking off on the tour.

I had asked to visit temples so we visited the beautiful temple of Shofukuji which was the Birth of Zen Buddhism. It was so peaceful! He introduced us to old town and enjoyed an excellent lunch at a small intimate restaurant. I had told him a few months ago that I was hoping to visit Dazaifu but couldn’t make it happen. He worked out that we were able to go there at the end of the day.

Kieran is an exceptional tour guide. I have been on many tours around the world and this was the best one I have been on. There was a mixup on where we were supposed to meet and he made the effort to go out of his way about 25 minutes to find me. We then spent almost 8 hours together, and I learned so much about the history and culture of both Osaka and Japan. Kieran is Canadian so the conversation in English was easy and understandable. He is also a foodie which helped make our day enjoyable. He is really a nice enjoyable guy.

Excellent walking tour (and a couple of trains) with our guide Shuto, he showed us many highlights of the city such as Meiji Shrine in Harajuku, the national park in Shinjuku (went to a tea house in the park) the famous crossing and shopping in Shibuya, plus more. This was our first time in Tokyo and we would have missed seeing these hidden gems if we didn’t do a tour like this. Our tour guide (Shuto) was amazing and connected well with all family members. The whole family had a great day and would highly recommend booking this tour.

Shuto was an excellent tour guide, he greeted us all at the hotel we were staying at, showed us how to navigate through the train system. He also escorted us to all the major shopping areas, were he waited while we bought our souvenirs. Would highly recommend Shuto to anyone new or even a bit of a novice of Tokyo, his knowledge plus his fluent english makes a busy city seem easier to find your way around.
