Hi, I’m Eri, a local from Nara and a guide here for several years. I love how Nara combines rich history with serene nature and how humans and deer live side by side. I enjoy relaxing at Nigatsudo Hall in Todai-ji, exploring cafés, trying sweets, and visiting traditional wagashi shops. I also know Osaka and Kyoto neighborhoods well. I love finding hidden gems and sharing everything that makes Nara special, from beautiful gardens and cozy cafés to the best places for souvenirs, knives, crafts, and Japanese tea.
