Insane amusement parks, Orca shows and Nagoya Castle - maybe you’ll spot a ninja (we’re serious).
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
You could dive into the weird and wonderful world of otaku, geek culture, in Osu, where manga stores sit alongside centuries-old shops selling traditional Japanese crafts, and fluro-colored cosplay (gaming superfan) costumes are nothing out of the ordinary! Perhaps you’ll feast on traditional food at futuristic malls in Sakae, or slurp ramen noodles to your hearts’ content - it’s polite to do so! You could explore the cherry-blossom-covered grounds around Nagoya Castle, discover the silent forests surrounding 700-year-old Atsuta Shrine, or head further afield to gigantic amusement park Nagashima Spa Land for roller coasters, water slides, and a relaxing soak in the onsen – Japan’s natural hot springs.

Takako-san made our day trip to Nagoya an enjoyable one. Whether is was a general request like guiding us around Nagoya castle, taking us to the Dragon's baseball stadium team shop, or a very specific one to search for an item at a local drug store, she delivered. We learned so much about the city and the people who live there. Would definitely recommend her for anyone visiting Nagoya.
Show moreTour guide was punctual. Went to the Nagoya castle and the shrine and finished off the last stop at Osu shopping district. Weather was good and we went around via the subway.
Show moreOnce you book, the agency will send you questions on your preferences. Then we were assigned with a guide who helped me plan with what we want. For a Nagoya private tour, price is really good. Our guide was perfect. We were able to plan what we wanted to go/do and we had a lot of fun. Highly recommended! Take note: this is a walking tour. Transpo and food are your own expense.
Show moreWe had a walking tour of Nagoya and dinner with Takako. She has traveled significantly, which makes her a fascinating person to chat with, let alone a knowledgeable tour guide. I particularly enjoyed her positive energy and cheerful demeanor. We had a lovely time with her!
