Every city has one - the it-girl of neighborhoods. In Sydney, it’s Paddington.

She’s sleek, beautiful, quirky and full of surprises. You’ll explore the streets of this chic neighborhood with one of our local Sydney hosts, stopping off at classy wine and cocktail bars, vintage pubs and hipster craft breweries.

In one street, your taste buds might travel from Syria to Greece, Lebanon to Indonesia or Vietnam to France - we bet that’s a new record! Wine and dine your way along patios and terraces, cozying up to the cosmopolitan twang in the air.

In a nutshell, that’s what Paddington is all about! Time out by popping into boutiques as you stroll around, only to dive back in for some more flavorsome feasts.

From pistachio pastries dripping with honey to Lebanese mezze boards, crispy-based Italian pizzas, Peruvian ceviche and gyoza (a specialty from Tokyo), Paddington is a wily temptress and we’re okay with that!

Pair your portions with the perfect, crisp Australian wine. Your host will know just what to suggest. Enjoy their company as you take to the streets together on the ultimate food crawl!

A Feast for Foodies in Sydney

Malcolm, our guide, met us by the ship and took us on an amazing travel experience. We went by ferry, light rail, and walking tour throughout the city. Not only did we get to see and taste much of the city we learned much about it as well. One of the definite highlights was the Fish Market. We booked this on Viator and loved it!

A feast for foodies in Sydney

John showed my family and I a great time in Sydney last week. He was very easy going to fit in well with our group. He made the experience fun by allowing us to choose some of our own items off the menus. I would absolutely recommend a food tour in Sydney with John.

Walking tour of Sydney with Malcolm

Malcolm was an amazing guide. He took us from the Radisson Blu Plaza to the Art Museum on the pier. Statue of William Bligh, looking at the Rocks and sandstone buildings. We walked the bridge to Dawes Point, learned about Ft. Dennison built to defend against the Russians who never came. We learned the history of the bridge and construction, the four economic sources for Australia and the history of Luna Park. We viewed some interesting artwork as we walked along Barangaroos new parkway and learned the aboriginal history of the area. We walked to Darling Quay and saw the variety of buildings and businesses there. Took the red line to the Fish Market and learned about its history. We then retraced our steps after returning from the Fish Market and returned to the Radisson Blu. Wonderful experience from the eyes of a native!

Peak was a fun guide. He conducted a TON of research before our trip and individualized our experience! What a beautiful park and an extraordinary hike—Figure 8 pools!!

An excellent morning with John

John met me at my Airbnb in Redfern and headed off on the train to Circular Quay. John shared some of the history and great places to take photos, my main reason for hiring a guide. We saw all the main sites and some out of the way places. John went above and beyond to orient me to the city.
