Our day with Delia in London was fabulous! She met us in the lobby of our hotel and took us to all of the must-see spots, including the Palace of Westminster, the London Eye, Big Ben, Parliament Square, St James Park, Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, The Parish Church of St Stephen Walbrook, St Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, Tate Modern, the Shard, Shakespeare’s Globe Theater and more! Delia shared great insights about each of the sights and had abundant historical knowledge of these treasures. We stopped along the way for coffee/tea at some quaint cafes and had a plethora of choices at Borough Market for lunch. Thanks to Delia’s impeccable timing, we were able to see the King himself drive past, on his way to Buckingham Palace!! Clearly the highlight of the day! With Delia, we felt as if we were traveling with a trusted friend. She interacted with every member of our family throughout the day and made it so easy to ask questions. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to take pictures. Despite the rain, it was a delightful day and one we won’t soon forget.
