What you'll do

Immerse yourself in the local food culture and snack on the move, trying small bites from a variety of hawker stalls so you can try a little bit of everything and discover the ingredients and history behind each recipe as you watch your food being chopped, fried, grilled and steamed before your eyes!
Chinatown is renowned in particular for its traditional Thai and Chinese desserts and barbecued seafood, so your local will take you to the best restaurants or street food stalls to try these classic dishes.
Wander through the area and see the classic Thai shophouses where locals sit at tables that have spilled out onto the street, discover where humble hawker carts are hidden amongst the energetic markets, try coffee from a 100 year old coffee house and taste dim sum in a local restaurant!

Street food tour of Chinatown at night
We had already been out all afternoon on a city tour so when Ping met us we were feeling a little tired. Ping soon sorted us out with a quick stop for coffee before getting us in a tuk-tuk to wake us up ! Tour of street food places in & around chinatown was great; Ping explained what was on offer & what the best dishes were to try at each place we stopped at. She also got us to try some of the local drinks made with either fruit or flowers which were really good too. Ping was great company & made sure that we were stuffed by the end of the tour. I would definitely recommend this type of tour to people !
