Join one of our hosts for a flavor-packed stroll in historic Bangrak. Savor Traditional Thai Breakfast delights, from Khao tom to Moo Ping and more!
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
Street food for breakfast? Of course! You'll feast your way around the historic Bangrak neighborhood with one of our local Bangkok hosts, trying the morning specialties that get the city moving each day.
With your host to show you how, what, and where, begin the day by ordering plates like nam tao hoo (soy milk), patongo (Thai doughnuts), gai yang (grilled chicken skewers), and moo ping (grilled pork skewers and sticky rice).
There's nothing like an early morning stroll, and wandering through this centuries-old culinary hotspot, soaking up the explosion of sights, smells, and flavors is the best start to the day we could imagine!
Skip your hotel breakfast and eat your way through 7 or 8 samples of Thai dishes which are traditionally bought from street food vendors in the mornings, and discover a whole new side of local cuisine you'd never even considered. What a way to start the day - you might just need another snooze after all that food!

Zee led an enjoyable trip through the streets of Bangkok. There was a nice selection of foods to sample meeting all our needs (vegetarian & carnivore). He took us to some good places to shop; my father in law was seeking shoes and he got some very comfy shoes. Everywhere he took us we found interesting and his sense of humor kept everything light. Very knowledgeable guide.
Show moreVisiting the markets and morning cafes with Dany was really lovely. We tried some traditional food, and visited a few out of the way places. The coconut custard was a highlight. Dany went above and beyond and extended the tour to provide some insight into how the Bangrak area has developed.
Show moreI took a half day tour of the off the beaten path of Bangkok. Kat was gracious enough to meet me at the hotel I’m staying. She took me to places that were not the usual. The Klong Bang Luang (Yai Canal), Chom Thong (Poonjai Garden), Thonburi district…it was an experience that I wouldn’t have been able to do on my own. I had my share of the best lunch (at a Michelin star restaurant in Thonburi) and best desserts in town! Just be ready to shell out extra for transportation and food (appx another $100 excluding gratuity) as these are not included in the booking. Thank you Kat for showing me around!
Show moreIf you want to experience the hidden and non-touristy Bangkok, then go with City Unscripted! Our host Kat made us forget about the chaotic capital by taking us to a peaceful cruise in the canals where we could enjoy stunning temples and local houses, as well as the giant golden Buddha statue. During the cruise Kat was really great in explaining us the local lifestyle, culture and history and she was always open to answer all the questions with her contagious smile. After the cruise she took us to a urban natural oasis where (believe me!) we didn’t feel like being in such a chaotic city and were we ate the best pad thai we had in Thailand. Shout out to Kat, we’ll come back!

Show moreI like the fact that this was not the usual tour. I told Kat about certain interests and she was able to deliver. She took me to places that were really very local- the canal ride in old Bangkok, the trip to a local hospital, experiencing local delicacies and markets…the experience was quite unique and bespoke
