Night markets, sunsets, and karaoke (no one’s listening, you’ll have your own booth, promise).
Here’s everything you need to know before your day unfolds.
You’ll join one of our local Taipei hosts in Taipei to experience life after dark, local style! And while we all have our own unique way of enjoying a night out, we’d recommend you start yours with a spectacular sunset, either from Taipei 101 or from the peak of Elephant Mountain, closely followed by some serious street food feasting at one of the city’s colorful night markets.
Get lost in the sea of busy locals and eager vendors, feel the buzz of Taipei nightlife and surrender yourself to an evening of crazy and unexpected fun!
Belly full, you could explore one of the city’s famous nightlife areas, like Ximending. Get lost in the crowd, sample the local food, check out the cool shops and admire the blinding neon lights and the animated signs.
Then, the ultimate Taipei nightlife experience - KTV karaoke (if you’re not ready to share your talent with the world yet that’s okay, you can have your own private booth).
But whether your idea of a good time is bar-hopping, a whole lot of eating, or something a little different, your host has you covered.

I had an absolutely wonderful day with Charlotte. It was my fourth and last day in Taiwan, and she took me to many places and I hadn't seen yet, and encouraged me to try the things I'd heard about but didn't know where or how to try. So we had tea eggs (hard boiled eggs marinated in tea) a type of fruit I've already forgotten the name of, and various nut and sesame and tea infused treats. We went to a traditional market, and I got to ask all my many questions, mostly: what is THAT? I have traveled in Asia before, to Japan and Singapore and Indonesia, but it was a luxury to ask all my questions. We went the beautiful Grand Hotel built by Chaing Kai-shek to receive his guests, and also to a lovely smaller temple, My favorite thing was that we went to a tea house to have traditional Taiwanese tea. The Makong Gondola was closed for maintenance this week, and there wasn't enough time to go up the mountain, but Charlotte found me a tea house in town. It was very soothing to have the tea demonstration and then sit and enjoy it. I highly recommend the experience. I also highly recommend this tour and Charlotte!
Show moreWe were given a full 6 hours if experiences and sightseeing from a lovely local guide who was very knowledgeable.
Show moreCharlotte was wonderful at allowing us to set the pace and pick the places to stop within Shilin market. She was great at showing us the ropes and even taught us how to use the Taiwan metro system. Met us early at the start and was mindful of our preferences. Very friendly and outgoing too.
Show moreMy tour guide and the tour company were super helpful. They're also very informative and quick to response. I got contacted 5 days before the tour. Winnie- my tour guide speaks fluent English, very nice, and answered all my questions. She explained the history and culture of Taiwan and also showed me how to navigate around the subway station. Would definitely recommended.
